I need more money.

That's all there is to it.

Hey, I've started my own NYC restaurant blog and I'm trying to reach out and put other cities' blogs on my site, so I kind of have a national restaurant log available for people.
Come and check out my blog anytime..found yours off the Kipblog foodblog...
Have a good one!

Spring has become my fave dinner destination in chicago. The execution is flawless. 4 star dining at 2.5 star prices.

I know someone who used to date Shawn. Supposedly he's a really nice guy.

By the way you're site doesn't work well for Macs.

Just ate at Spring last weekend and echo your review - I even ordered the same things, although I finished my dish, forcing myself into a state of stuffedness that's hard to attain at any other restaurnat of that caliber.

The atmosphere was cool, the service was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious and special. Altogether it made an extremely enjoyable meal.

By the way, the previous poster is complaing about the way your site reacts on IE for Mac, it's fine on Safari.

I agree wholeheartedly. Spring is one of my favorite restaurants. Shame on you for skipping dessert, though. Wouldn't you consider that part of the experience?

I was born and raised in Chicago and think that no other city has better eats, but I am not feeling the Frontera Grill. It was okay, but it gets these rave reviews that blow me away. It si advertised as authentic Mexican cuisine but I think of it as pretty Mexican cuisine. I keep looking for the tripe on the menu [I don't eat it], but it is very authentic and a VERY popular staple in Mexican cuisine. Chicago is a very large, diverse city with a menu for everyone's taste, but here's a big top. If you want the best authentic food in any group or ethnicity, you will not find it in downtown or the Near North side of the city. Go to the neighborhoods of that group of people. Look for the greasy spoon diners and carry-out spots. These are the places where you will find the best food. Look for the place where the neighborhood cops eat, that's another good clue, and parking is usually if not always free unless there's a meter. Most of these places will give an entire meal for under $10.00
