Comments: Pulpo y Conejo. No Waiting!

My experience here was not so great, but your review has made me think about giving it another try. Part of the problem was not their fault - I went to try a specific dish mentioned in a Chi Mag review but was told that the menu changes very often and that item was not longer available. Sadly both of the specials for the evening that I was interested in were no longer available so I had to settle for my third choice. Dinner was good, but not spectacular. We had also called in advance to ask if there was a wait and were assured that there was none, but by the time we arrived (about 20 minutes later) we had to wait around for about 45 minutes for a table. On the strength of your review I'd give them another try - maybe on a weeknight when they probably wouldn't be quite so crowded.

Sounds amazing -- I'll have to give it a try. After dining at two Mexican restaurants at the extremes of the scale this past weekend (Chilpancingo and Cesar's), this sounds like a nice balance between two. And easy, free parking is an added bonus!
