I spoke to Doug Sohn of Hot Doug's today and he informed me that Hot Doug's will be re-opening its doors in mid-August at the same location.
Hot Doug's, EatChicago's favorite sausage-shack, closed its doors in April after a fire in an adjoining apartment. It was originally reported that Hot Doug's would be relocating, but Doug himself has confirmed that he's staying put.Watch this site for Doug's exact grand re-opening date. When it comes, stop by for a sausage and wish him well. He said that he'll be the "well-rested one behind the counter".
