After an extended vacation from this site for a variety of reasons. I am re-opening this site. Thank you all for your very interesting emails and comments while I was on hiatus. It makes my day to learn that people acutally read this site.
A few points of note:
- The wildly popular LTHForum Great Neighborhood Restaurant Map has been updated with the 17 winners from January 2006. Two of these winners have already either closed or changed management, and a third (Cafe Nu Hoa) is rumored to be for sale. If you're looking for someplace new to eat, this map should be an excellent guide. I'll be writing more about my nominee, Renga-Tei, very soon.
- If you missed it, the LTHForum 2005 Year in Food Photos is an extraordinary gallery of food porn. I was honored to have a few photos selected.
- Comments have been turned off on this site until further notice. I need to repair the comment system, and I'm considering doing a complete overhaul of the site. If you're a graphic designer and you're interested in helping, .
- This site doesn't work very well in Internet Explorer for the Macintosh. Microsoft has announced that they are no longer supporting this product, so if you're on a Mac you should be either using Safari or Firefox or, better yet, Camino.
