EatChicago.net is officially one-year old this week. The past year of eating, shopping, and writing has been a lot of fun and I hope it continues. When I started this weblog, my purpose was only to document and chronicle the places and foods that I find interesting. I hoped that it would be an interesting resource for myself, my family, and my friends. I never expected to gain the interest and attention from so many people I have never met. Thank you all for your encouraging emails, tips, comments, and suggestions. . I would also like to thank the following people and groups, without whom this site would not be what it is today:
  • Ms. EatChicago, my fiancée, sometimes editor, writing critic, and constant dining companion.
  • The good people of LTHForum.com for their encouragement, tips, ideas, and general good cheer.
  • Lauren Liss, for her excellent design skills that continue to receive praise.
  • The restaurateurs and shopkeepers of Chicago, Illinois, my hometown, for providing a culinary experience like no other.
I have a long list of ideas for posts and other new content for the next year. One of the things that you can expect to see are an Amazon associates store and Google ads, to help pay for the bandwidth bill that I just received. I hope to make these features useful, but unobtrusive. All the best, EatChicago Tags:    Post a comment
