EatChicago.net is officially one-year old this week. The past year of eating, shopping, and writing has been a lot of fun and I hope it continues. When I started this weblog, my purpose was only to document and chronicle the places and foods that I find interesting. I hoped that it would be an interesting resource for myself, my family, and my friends. I never expected to gain the interest and attention from so many people I have never met. Thank you all for your encouraging emails, tips, comments, and suggestions. . I would also like to thank the following people and groups, without whom this site would not be what it is today:
- Ms. EatChicago, my fiancée, sometimes editor, writing critic, and constant dining companion.
- The good people of LTHForum.com for their encouragement, tips, ideas, and general good cheer.
- Lauren Liss, for her excellent design skills that continue to receive praise.
- The restaurateurs and shopkeepers of Chicago, Illinois, my hometown, for providing a culinary experience like no other.
